How do “We The People” get rid of ineffective representatives? One must realize that although a representative was voted into office by his constituents, his decision(s) or lack thereof, affects not only those constituents but the entire population. The 12 Senators on the Super Committee must go when their terms expire. They are out of touch with people beneath their social level but yet they represent the majority. These are the very people that Occupy Wall Street should be protesting!
Obama may have good intentions but he does not know how to initiate and carry through with his agenda. He has staffed with equally ineffective people that have created more chaos than existed initially. We are ready to see true growth and leadership in Washington.
Being highly educated is not a bad thing and generally speaking, reading and learning from books will endow one with valuable knowledge and principles. However, without actually applying those learned principles in daily application to practical matters does not help the educated to effect positive and lasting changes in roles of leadership. No one can add value without experiencing first hand the very steps over which he is trying to lead. You can add the most brilliant minds to your staff but again, they must have had hands on experience to be effective in implementing change of any type.
We The People, deserve representation that works for us …the common man. All these people make in excess of $1M per year? How can they represent the average American? These are the people that we should be protesting as they are a prime example of that 1% that controls our lives without a thought to what is best for all.
I will not support any president that continues any agendas that enable any person to live off others. I will not support any president that “spreads the wealth”. I will not support any president that uses the presidential office for campaing purposes. I will not support any president that breeds class warfare. I will not support any president that walks in “robin hood” costume.
Why do liberals, big union, government represetatives and democrats feel such animosity toward the Tea Party? Why are they so loud and ugly in their speeches about them? I am yet to hear the same type of hatred and negativity come from a tea partier’s mouth. There is no need for vulgarity and hate speeches when talking politics. Poltical persuasion is a choice given ever American. You can believe what you wish as it is a freedom you have for being born in the USA. It is time to drop the hatred and fear mongering. Try to understand that your words easily hurt others who may have differing opinions from you. Having a different political view does not mean that you are not basically the same…a human! I can appreciate all points of view but in then end I have free will to make my own choice and I can do it without animosity and hatred to any given group or ethnicity. Can You?
This talk of going to war over politics is so silly. We are becoming just like the countries across the oceans that have had uprisings to overthrow their governments. What is going to happen in our own country? Is the the change Obama promised us?
Obama failed in bringing acceptable negotiations to the table…anyone surprised our enlightened Pres can’t rein in Pelosi and Reid?
I say it is a fake birth certificate and so does this expert with excellent point by point response and graphics.
I understand Obama wants Mubarak to step down (and apparently has done so). But what comes next? I presume the Islam Brotherhood will soon gain power and if so, is this why Obama wanted Mubarak to step down? Does he really believe a Muslim Brotherhood control will better life for the young Egyptians? Why was our government so vocal in this matter? Why did our government inject itself in another country’s turmoil? I have never understood why the United States tries to dictate to other countries how their countries should be run. This is yet another example of the United States interference with the government policies of a foreign nation. This will be interesting to watch play out to see who ends up where.

Do not cave in now. It is better to stand up to the thieves and tyrants than give in to them. Reid and Pelosi’s days are numbered. The only reason they are still where they are the Democratic political machine poured so much money into their campaigns. Have you found anyone yet in California or Nevada that voted for them? I guess it is a powerful and wonderful thing to have the unions and lobbyists in your pockets!
It is better for no one to get the tax cuts than to punish the ones that have made their millions by providing jobs and charitable contributions to others?
